The intallation of the control box will depend on the three things; proximity to an electrical outlet, path to the first lights of the system, and keeping it hidden. More often than not, the Control box is installed on the side of the home near a roofline, or in the attic of the garage.
Is there a DIY solution available for the Gemstone Lights Track Lighting System?
No we do not offer a DIY solution for the Gemstone Lights Track Lighting System. Gemstone Lights must be installed by an authorized Dealer.

Yes, if for whatever reason you don't have access to wifi you can connect using a local bluetooth connection.
Is there a Monthly cost to use the Gemstone Hub App?
No, it is a one time low payment up front for your controller and after that you don't have to think about it again.
Can I control Multiple Systems with the Same Device?
Yes, the ability to control multiple systems simultaneously is a core feature of the Gemstone Hub app.

There is no limit to how many users can use the Gemstone Lights Hub app to access your Gemstone Lights products. You are able to share your access with anyone you choose.

Warranty & Certifications
What is your Gemstone Lights Product Warranty?
Gemstone Lights offer a 5 year product warranty. Our Lights are graded for 50,000 hours. Any Gemstone Lights registered product or component within the system that fails or has defects within the warranty period will be covered under the 5 year product warranty and will be fixed or replaced. Any parts service work needed outside the warrany period will be subject to the fees. Please contact Spectrum Lighting at anytime and we will be happy to help solve whatever issue you may have. Cost of product after the 5yrs will fall on homeowner.
Are Gemstone Lights CSA and ETL Certified?
Yes, Gemstone Lights are CSA & ETL certified in the USA and Canada. As a consumer, you should make sure tht the product you are purchasing is indeed certified. You will see our ETL stamp of approval on all Gemstone Lights product.
Where are Gemstone Lights Designed and Made?
Gemstone Lights was designed, developed, and founded in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Almost all of our products are built and assembled out of Calgary Head Office and manufacturing facility. Some parts, such as the LED lights, are sourced from exclusive Gemstone Lights manufacurer in China. Gemstone Lights products are distributed to, and installed by Authorized dealers.
